Søndagsskolen (The Sunday School) was a biblical story told and acted by child actors, with adult actors supporting their storytelling. By depicting God as a child, it was depicted from the human perspective, making the story more relatable, and bringing innocence and wonder, which allowed the audience to connect with stories on a more human level. In this production, God created life using clay, symbolizing the fragile nature of existence. To reinforce this theme, the entire scenography was built from clay, portraying the world as delicate and easily shaped, yet vulnerable to being broken. Through these naive approaches, Søndagsskolen provided a fresh, evocative perspective on well-known biblical stories.
