In this production, Jon Fosse's text took center stage, guiding the entire conceptual design. An elevated small, confined room was created—so small that it couldn’t comfortably hold two people. This claustrophobic space represented the protagonist's mind, trapped in the past. The entire set was rendered in shades of gray, symbolizing the endless monotony and sorrow that have consumed him since the day of the tragedy.

The design emphasized the oppressive repetition of a perpetual nightmare, suggesting that an breakthrough was essential for the protagonist to move on with his life. This pivotal moment was represented through the use of a collapsing wall, which ultimately allowed him to break free from his emotional imprisonment and move forward.
