For Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, I designed a set that evokes a sense of claustrophobia while maintaining a realistic appearance. The room has no windows, all walls seem perfectly the same, and the two exits are designed to look identical, emphasizing a feeling of entrapment.

I upholstered the furniture with iconic 60s blue wool fabric to heighten the period's stylishness and draw focus to the people sitting on them. The teak walls were designed with hidden compartments, not merely for aesthetic reasons but to reflect the hidden truths about the couple.

At the end of the play, a hidden window is revealed, symbolizing hope as the sun rises outside, offering a glimmer of potential reconciliation from their long, turbulent night.
